Coworking or a private office: which is right for you?
The decision is not really about cost. It is about how much privacy your work needs and how predictable your team is.
Start with the nature of your conversations
If most of your work is individual and most of your calls are short, a shared floor works well and costs less. If your team talks all day, or handles client information that should not be overheard, a door is not a luxury.
Legal, financial, health and HR work usually needs a private room from the first day.
Then look at team size and stability
One to three people can usually work comfortably on a shared floor with occasional meeting-room bookings. From roughly four people upwards, a team starts to need a space where it can talk without managing its volume.
If your headcount is moving quickly, taking desks now and a room later is a reasonable sequence — provided your provider has rooms available when you need one.

A common arrangement is a private office for the core team plus shared-floor access for people who come in occasionally. It keeps the fixed cost proportional to the people who are actually there every day.
